Who pays for physiotherapy?
Coverage is generally provided by:
- Most Extended Health Care Insurance Plans – see below
- Work Safety Insurance Board (WSIB) – require claim number from WSIB
- Ontario Auto Insurers (Motor Vehicle Accidents MVA) – require claim information
- Veteran’s Affairs (Blue Cross) – require physician’s referral and K#
- Self Payment

Note – A new injury or a long time laps between visits (more than 6 months) will require a reassessment.
Extended Health Care Insurance Plans
Wright Physiotherapy can now direct bill most extended health care plans, just bring in a claim form with your insurance information or your benefit card.

Every insurance plan is different. If you are unsure your plan covers physiotherapy, how much of the fee is covered and to what maximum amount, check directly with your insurance provider.
FOR MANULIFE CLIENTS ONLY- ACTION REQUIRED* - Patients required to sign up on-line for direct deposits. You will be required to pay for services, Wright Physiotherapy can then process your claims which are reimbursed through direct deposit. Go to www.manulife.ca/planmember to register.
